Solution
Overview
Currently, assets tracking in most power plants
are conducted manually which is tedious, time consuming and usually brings lots
of errors. Even with business management system and barcode technology,
problems still happen as the assets status are changing in real time. With
RFID, however, assets in different status can be automatically identified and
managed, data collected automatically, human errors eliminated, and assets
information connected seamlessly with power plant IT system. RFID tag, with
assets information encoded, is applied onto assets to keep the asset
information and status in accordance with assets accounts. RFID handheld
devices can be used to modify and record power meter information and can update asset status like newly added assets and assets transfer. Assets checking
reports can be uploaded in real time by batch to ensure assets status is
exactly in accordance with its accounts in real time. The RFID devices are
connected with power plants business management system to make assets
management and engineer management a close loop, hence, the business management
system and real assets are further unified.
Advantage
1, Automatically identify assets and
collect data to eliminate human errors. Assets physical status and IT system
connected seamlessly.
2, Automatically collect historical
inspection records to solve problem arised from of separately collected and
input data of assets which makes it difficult to verify system asset data and
physical assets status.
3. Save time and improve efficiency
